Jangled Night
The dog decided to screw up my schedule by puking in the hall around 2:30. I got up and cleaned it up, but after that I tossed and turned and couldn’t get back to sleep. So I came downstairs and worked for an hour around 3:30, and then napped on the couch for a couple of hours until the kids got up.
The day was otherwise fairly unremarkable, though I did nap for an hour or so in the afternoon. I also worked my way forward on a couple of software projects and sent plenty of email to let clients know I was toiling away for them – though I didn’t toil that much, between some kitchen cleanup and taking time to learn more about some of the tools I’m using.
Somewhere in there I also started setting up a new server for yet another web site.
For dinner, I made pork stir-fry and rice, which turned out a bit bland but edible. After dinner, it was just a normal night of getting kids to bed and then taking a bit of relaxation time for myself.
